In the second section, you will find information on what your dog should eat, on weight control, canned vs. homemade pouched food, treats and food. There is also a great source of information on exercise for your dog and activities like fetching and swimming. There is a wealth of information on grooming and brushing teeth. You will learn to use the right tools for grooming and several tips for bathing your dog. You are also told how to prevent catastrophes.

The third section covers behavior training and socialism. You will learn to be consistent when training your puppy and the right time to give praise. How do you handle a puppy that is chewing and doing other naughty things such as biting and barking? You will find the answer to these questions in this section.

As you can see, this book is an excellent source for anyone who owns or wants to own a dog. This is a book you will want to keep on your shelf as a handy reference. Dr. Becker is an expert in this area and he has created this manual for dog owners. He also has many money saving tips listed.
